A book nerd who is tired of reading?

So, I am taking two summer classes. One of them is a literature class. Horror literature. I'm kinda getting bored with the class now. I mean, the first day of class wasn't all that exciting either, but I'm just really ready for the class to be over. Which it will be a week from Thursday. I was doing okay on my readings. But right now, I'm behind. I should have already finished Dracula, but I'm only on chapter 15. I read so much yesterday and last night trying to finish it, but then I decided that it would be best for me to go ahead and start the next book, The Shining. We were supposed to have read all the way to chapter 29. I'm only on chapter 16. I tried to get caught up this morning (in time for my class at 130) but I didn't make it. I hate to say it, but I'm at the point where I am tired of reading. Wwwwhhhhaaaattttt!!!!!!!!! I know, it's weird. But that is where I am right now. Once the class is over, I am going to take a small break from reading. Then, all will be well. Until the middle of the fall semester when I'm struggling to read the books for my young adult lit class, as well as keep up in all my other classes.

I think it's not a matter of you being a bad nerd. I think it's more along the lines of some of these books are rough to dig into and having so many of them just makes it hard to read. For someone who has never had a hard time reading, these books present an unwanted challenge. Don't worry. You're almost there. One week! And I'll see you the day after! So, it'll be okay. Just dig deep and get it done.
