Why I love what I love: Part Four

Friends.
I'm an introvert. I don't go out of my way to make friends, usually. For some people, it takes me awhile before I latch on to them, before they become part of my close circle. Then there are some who I can click with instantly. I also have some who I have no idea how they became my best friend. Actually, this last part only refers to one person.

My friends make me happy. They know how to cheer me. They mean a lot to me. I may not always tell them, like I should, but they do. Each of my friends bring out something different in me. Not saying that I'm a different person with each of my friends, they just bring out a different part. Let me explan.

My roommate is my absolute best friend. When we are together, things go crazy. We both make weird noises, do funny gestures, burst out in random songs, and sometimes we seem to know what the other is thinking. A lot of people find it hard to understand us sometimes. And by sometimes, I mean all the time.

With my other friends, things are less crazy. Our conversations are different than the one I have with my roommate. We are usually easier to understand. They just bring out a different layer of myself than what my roommate brings out of me.

I have so many memories with my friends. Lots of laughter, crying. Lots and lots of nerdiness. They comfort me when I need it. And they usually give the best hugs. They listen to my rants, and I listen to theirs. They help me to enjoy life.

There are just so many reasons why I love my friends. I know that I would be really lonely without them. And my bouts of depression would probably be worse.

The reason why I chose this topic is because I did an extreme activity in my acting class today. It made me think how badly I would feel if I lost one of my friends. It was hard being in that position. It just made me realize what I had.
