About a week ago, I was in the fit working out my arms. I've been doing a certain amount of reps, so I always count to make sure I do all of them when working on my arms. A guy from one of the campus ministries I used to go to was working out there as well and started talking to me. He was asking me if I still went to the ministry or another ministry I was a part of or if I had a church here that I go to. I gave my normal excuse that I am busy and haven't had a chance to go to anything. Here is what was going on in my head as he was talking to me:
1) Dude, I am trying to count here, so please leave me alone.
2) I have a bunch of things going on.
3) Okay, so I'm not really that busy, I just don't really feel like going.
I stopped going to the campus ministries because I am really burnt out on them, as well as being burnt out on church in general. I haven't been spending time in my Bible, or praying, or listening to any of my christian music. But a lot of people don't know that because they don't ask. At least, they don't ask how I am really doing. They ask if I am still going to stuff. But I can't remember the last time someone asked about my spirituality or even about health in general. Granted, even if they did, I probably wouldn't answer completely right away, but if you kept showing that you care long enough, I will tell you the truth, as far as I can anyways. Sometimes I don't even know where I am in life.
I'm not saying all this because I am mad at somebody or because I want sympathy or because I want to see who my "real" friends are. This is just something that I needed to get off my chest.

*cough cough*
Roommate is sick. I am probably on the verge of getting sick. However, I have a show next week. I'm not allowed to get sick. Here's to good health.

11 September 2001
I think I was in seventh grade geography class. I wanna say that I was copying vocab from the glossary when the announcement came on. A plane had crashed in the World Trade Center, followed by another one. Every time I changed classes, I would look and see if the TV was on. Most of the time it was on. I remember coming home from school and asking mom if she had heard what happened. She was watching TV, but I can't remember if it was the news or not. I remember I tried to make a scrapbook of the attack, but I don't think it worked out.
I don't remember much else from that day.
I would like to honor those people who died from the terrorist attack. Those in NY, Washington, and Pennsylvania. From the people on the planes, to the people who were in the two towers of the World Trade Center, and those at the Pentagon, to the military, the fire department, to everyone who risked their lives to save somebody. Also, to all the families who lost a loved one. As well as those miles and miles who, although did not have a loved one there, but were affected by that day.

A new routine
So, my roommate has been on a exercising/healthy eating thing. I decided that it would be a good chance for me to get back to exercising. I don't have a lot of time to go, but I find that going every Tuesday and Thursday morning to the gym works for me because hardly anyone else is there. Roommate will usually come with me. We try to get there around 7, which is when it opens, and stay for about an hour. We go back to the room to change/clean/email before going to breakfast. Then we wait for class to start, which is not until 11. Roommate has a 930 class, but they don't meet every morning. That is how she is able to join me. Sometimes, when I don't have to be a rehearsal or Senate or work, I go work out with her in the afternoons. Or on weekends, before I go to work. I also try to eat healthy...ier. I have been eating more fruits and stuff like toast with peanut butter or maybe grab cereal instead of biscuits/gravy and eggs. Just to mix things up.
The eating of healthy may not last a long time, at least on my part. But hopefully I can keep working out. My goal is not to lose weight (if you actually know me, you know that I can't really afford to lose any weight). I just want to get in shape.
