11 September 2001

I think I was in seventh grade geography class. I wanna say that I was copying vocab from the glossary when the announcement came on. A plane had crashed in the World Trade Center, followed by another one. Every time I changed classes, I would look and see if the TV was on. Most of the time it was on. I remember coming home from school and asking mom if she had heard what happened. She was watching TV, but I can't remember if it was  the news or not. I remember I tried to make a scrapbook of the attack, but I don't think it worked out.

I don't remember much else from that day.

I would like to honor those people who died from the terrorist attack. Those in NY, Washington, and Pennsylvania. From the people on the planes, to the people who were in the two towers of the World Trade Center, and those at the Pentagon, to the military, the fire department, to everyone who risked their lives to save somebody. Also, to all the families who lost a loved one. As well as those miles and miles who, although did not have a loved one there, but were affected by that day.
